Second Date Snacks is a UK-based food business selling stuffed Medjool dates online. You can reach us at abbey@seconddate.co.uk.

When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy our products. A contract is formed when we dispatch your order and send you a dispatch confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order (for example if a product is out of stock or a price was listed in error) — if we do, you'll receive a full refund.

You must be 18 or over to place an order. Please check your order details and delivery address carefully before confirming — we can't always amend orders once they're being packed.

All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken at the point of order via our secure checkout provider.

Promotions (such as free postage on 3+ pouches) are applied automatically at checkout and may be withdrawn at any time. Only one discount code can be used per order unless stated otherwise.

Our Subscribe & Save option delivers your chosen pouches at the frequency you select (every 2, 4 or 8 weeks) at a 10% discount on the one-time price. By subscribing you authorise recurring payments at each delivery until you cancel.

You can pause, skip, change or cancel your subscription at any time before your next billing date via the link in your subscription emails or by contacting us. If a payment fails, we'll retry and let you know before cancelling the subscription.

We dispatch within 2–3 working days via Royal Mail. Full details, including delivery timeframes and charges, are on our Shipping page. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery.

Because our products are perishable food items, some of the usual 14-day cancellation rights don't apply. Full details of when we offer refunds, replacements or returns are on our Refund Policy page.

Our products are not suitable for anyone with any form of nut allergy. Every product contains nuts (pistachio, peanut or almond) as a main ingredient, and all flavours are made in the same kitchen using shared equipment, so cross-contamination between nuts is possible. Full details are on our Allergen Information page. Always check the ingredient and allergen information on the pouch before eating, especially if you or someone you're sharing with has an allergy.

Chocolate "bloom" (a light white-ish coating caused by the natural moisture of fresh Medjool dates) is cosmetic, harmless, and does not affect freshness or flavour. It is not grounds for a refund.

All content on this site — including the Second Date name, logo, photography and copy — belongs to Second Date Snacks. Please don't reuse it without our written permission.

We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our negligence, up to the value of your order. We're not liable for indirect losses (such as loss of profit) or for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, unless you live elsewhere in the UK, in which case you may also bring proceedings in your home nation's courts.
