A cool, dry place works fine, but we love keeping them in the fridge — it gives the chocolate a satisfying snap and the filling a firmer bite.

No — every pouch is filled with nut butter (pistachio, peanut or almond) and all flavours are made in the same kitchen using shared equipment, so we can't guarantee any product is free from any nut. Most likely, yes. The natural moisture in fresh Medjool dates can sometimes cause the chocolate to lighten or streak — this is called 'bloom' and it's completely harmless. It doesn't change the taste or quality, and your dates are still fresh and safe to enjoy. Bloom isn't a reason for a return, but if something looks genuinely wrong (not just cosmetically different), email us at abbey@seconddate.co.uk with a photo and we'll take a look.
Because our dates are fresh and perishable, we can't accept returns or exchanges. If something isn't right, drop us an email and we'll sort it out.
